How Starbird chicken Came to Life


It started with a simple idea: starbird chicken deserved better. In 2014, founder Aaron Noveshen set out to reimagine the classic chicken sandwich — not just as fast food, but as a genuinely satisfying meal made from ingredients you can trust. From our very first kitchen in the San Francisco Bay Area, we refused to cut corners.

A Decade of starbird chicken


2014

The First Starbird Opens

Aaron Noveshen launches the first starbird location in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a menu built around antibiotic-free chicken and house-made sauces. Lines form on day one.

2016

Expanding the Flock

Starbird chicken opens three new locations across California, responding to overwhelming demand. The signature crispy chicken tenders earn a cult following throughout the state.

2018

starbirds Delivery Launch

We partner with major delivery platforms to bring starbird chicken directly to customers' doors. Our packaging is redesigned to keep every order as fresh and crispy as the in-restaurant experience.

2020

Resilience Through Challenges

During a difficult year for the restaurant industry, Starbird chicken pivots quickly to a takeout-first model, adds family meal bundles, and launches a community meals program to support local healthcare workers.

2022

Southern California Arrives

Starbird chicken opens its flagship Torrance location at 21101 Hawthorne Blvd, bringing bold starbird flavor to the South Bay and marking a major milestone in the brand's expansion.
